Remembrance

It's Memorial Day weekend...more than just 3 days off. 

Still the same...

Jesus said He's coming...but when?  Just watch.  No need to calculate or reason or speculate.  He just wants us to live with an eye toward heaven.  Today, tomorrow, next week...or three hundred years from now, it shouldn't matter to our lifestyle or actions. 

And what the Word said Friday is still the same Saturday, after 6PM.

Before Breakfast

Sometimes God wants for us to just sit and drink in the wonder of Himself.

Adjustments

I love digital...when I go back and look at earlier stuff and see the mistakes, it's easy to start all over and do it right.  Well, more right than before, anyway.  Here are a couple that needed some text revisions.  The verse is the same, the font and size and position and treatment are better.

Family Portrait

Spent a little time Saturday taking the "Family Portrait".  Good thing...they were up and gone by Tuesday.

Went out Saturday to do the best I could with these baby robins before they got big and flew...made it just in time.  Miss P went to look Tuesday and the nest is empty.  Fly, kids!

Psalm 91

Psalm 91:  We read this generally as a "Messianic" psalm..."lest thou dash thy foot against a stone"...but I think there are blessings promised to any of us who take the position in the "secret place"...He is "my refuge and my fortress".  God only knows to what extent His hand of protection is upon us at any time.

New Life

Happy Easter, my friends.  Celebrate new life in Christ!

Besides...

Pennyrile: even though there was huge rain Friday night, and the Saturday weather was not pleasant, there were some benefits.  The little waterfall back from the beach, usually just a trickle or even dry, was flowing full and strong.  Made for some interesting pics...this one a slow exposure with a bit of zoom-out, from the cave.

Pennyrile Spring Photo Weekend...it was cold and rainy and windy, but we had fun, make some nice pics and learned a little.  I must need to learn a LOT!  I only had one place, 3rd, for the sandstone cliff above.  Wait 'til FALL!

Black and White

My abstract entry into the Black and White member challenge on DPC.  Score was pretty good, but it didn't really have enough impact to score high.  Ended 90th out of 230 with a 5.6111.  OK...definitely not great.
